Doubt Stemmed from Fear
of the Unknown

Another seed of doubt is stemmed from fear of the unknown. Once you have lived your life a certain way and are called to make a drastic change in your life, it can be scary.

You might be torn because you know that you need to take action, but you are unsure of what the outcome will be.

"…For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’ ”
(Jeremiah 29:11)

Someone once told me that the Lord will never lead you to do something that directs you away from Him.

One way to bring about inner peace is to search scripture or spend time in prayer asking God which of your actions would most glorify Him.

Whatever you are being directed to do should fall in alignment with the will of God. This way, there is no need to doubt or fear the unknown because God’s plans for you are only good ones, not disastrous ones.

It is human nature to doubt the unknown and assess situations prior to taking action, but you can trust in your inner compass.

When you allow Christ to guide you, doubt and fear slowly dissolve.
